Zeus 270W vs Zeus 280W — What’s Different?

The Zeus 280W is the latest evolution of our flagship desktop charger. While both models share the same high-performance GaN technology and multi-device charging capabilities, several important upgrades were introduced in the 280W version.

This guide explains the key differences between the Zeus 270W (discontinued) and the newer Zeus 280W model.

Power Output Upgrade

The most significant improvement is the increased total power output.

  • Zeus 270W → 270W total output

  • Zeus 280W → 280W total output

The Zeus 280W also supports two 140W USB-C ports, allowing better performance when charging multiple high-power devices.

Port Configuration Comparison

ModelPort OutputTotal Output When All Ports In Use
Zeus 280W140W + 140W + 100W + 65W280W
Zeus 270W140W + 100W + 100W + 65W270W

Key difference:
The Zeus 280W allows two devices to receive up to 140W simultaneously, making it ideal for power users charging multiple laptops or high-performance devices.

⚠️ Power is intelligently distributed when multiple devices are connected, so actual output may adjust automatically.

OLED Display Design

The Zeus 280W features a redesigned OLED front panel with an updated interface.

While both models display real-time power information, the 280W version provides an improved layout and visual clarity.

Travel Adapter Compatibility

The travel adapters were redesigned for the Zeus 280W.

  • Travel adapters from the 270W model are not compatible with the 280W.

  • The 280W version includes updated interchangeable adapters for US, EU, UK, and AU outlets.

C7 Adapter Compatibility (Zeus 280W Only)

The Zeus 280W supports the optional C7 adapter, which converts the charger into an extension-style power cable setup.

This accessory:

  • works only with the Zeus 280W

  • is not compatible with the Zeus 270W
