Flash Pro Plus — Start Here (Owner Guide)
What is the difference between Flash Pro and Flash Pro Plus?
The Flash Pro Plus and Flash Pro models differ in two main ways.
- Magsafe Wireless Chaging: Flash Pro Plus includes a magnetic wireless charger which is designed to be compatible with iPhone's Magsafe feature. The MagSafe feature allows for a magnetic attachment between your iPhone and Flash Pro Plus, ensuring a reliable and precise alignment. While Flash Pro's charging pad can charge an iPhone, the MagSafe feature is not supported.
- Apple Watch Charging Pad: Flash Pro Plus has a separate wireless charger specially designed for Apple Watches. In contrast, the Flash Pro model doesn't have an Apple Watch charger.
Besides these differences, both models are identical. Therefore, which model you choose depends on the devices you use. If you are an Apple user, you will find the additional features of the Flash Pro Plus quite handy.
Apple Watch Not Charging on Flash Pro Plus
We’ve helped many customers resolve Apple Watch charging issues by following the steps below. In most cases, the issue is resolved within the first few steps.
Step 1: Remove the protective film
The wireless charging pads on the Flash Pro Plus may have a thin plastic film.
This film can interfere with charging.
Remove the film completely before use.
Step 2: Turn on wireless charging
Wireless charging must be activated before use.
Press and hold the power button for 3–5 seconds.
The “W” indicator on the OLED screen will blink when wireless charging is active.
If the “W” is not blinking, wireless charging is OFF.
Step 3: Position the Apple Watch correctly
Place the Apple Watch directly in the centre of the watch charging pad.
Hold it in place for a few seconds to ensure alignment.
Step 4: Remove watch cases or accessories
Some cases or protective covers can interfere with charging.
Try charging with the case removed.
Step 5: Update watchOS
Since watchOS 8.3, some third-party chargers may not function properly.
Update to the latest watchOS version and test again.
Compatibility & Charging Behaviour
Apple Watch Series 7
Apple Watch Series 7 supports Apple’s fast-charge protocol (up to ~3.5W) when used with the original Apple charger.
Because this protocol was not available during Flash Pro Plus development, fast charging is not supported.
Your watch will still charge normally.
Apple Watch Series 6 & earlier
Apple Watches typically draw about 2W during charging, even when used with Apple’s charger.
This is normal behaviour.
Temperature & Charging Protection
Apple Watch monitors its temperature during charging.
If the temperature reaches approximately 35–36°C, the watch may:
• reduce charging speed
• temporarily pause charging
Once the temperature drops, charging resumes automatically as long as the watch remains on the pad.
OLED Display Readings
Due to screen size limitations, the OLED display does not show decimal values.
For example:
• 0.9W may display as 0W
This does not mean charging has stopped.
Check your Apple Watch screen to confirm charging status.
Expected Charging Time
A full charge typically takes about 2 hours.
OLED Screen Does Not Switch Off
If the OLED screen on your Flash Pro or Flash Pro Plus stays on longer than expected, it is usually related to active charging functions or the power button state.
Follow the steps below to identify and resolve the issue.
Step 1: Check for active charging functions
The powerbank will remain active if any output is in use.
Disconnect all cables and devices.
If wireless charging is enabled, the powerbank may stay active for up to 30 minutes.
Look at the bottom-left of the OLED screen:
If the “W” indicator is blinking, wireless charging is active.
Press and hold the power button for 3–5 seconds to turn wireless charging off.
Once disabled, wait 15–30 minutes to see if the screen turns off automatically.
Step 2: Check the power button
If the power button is stuck or partially pressed, the screen may remain on.
This can occasionally happen if the packaging pressed against the button during shipping.
Press the power button several times to ensure it moves freely.
Step 3: Reset the powerbank (full discharge reset)
If the screen remains on, performing a full reset can help.
Allow the powerbank battery to drain completely
Use multiple ports to speed up discharge if needed
Once fully drained, the unit will reset
Recharge the powerbank to 100% and test again
What to expect
The OLED screen will remain on while:
charging devices
wireless charging is active
output power is in use
It will switch off automatically after inactivity.
If the screen remains on after completing these steps, please submit a request and our Customer Happiness Team will be happy to assist.
