How to change your Zeus travel adapters safely
First and foremost, we want to assure you that the safety of our customers is our top priority. Our products, including Zeus and our travel adapters, undergo rigorous testing and comply with all relevant safety regulations before they are made available to our valued customers.
However, we have observed instances where customers have disconnected the main body of Zeus from the adapter while the adapter is still plugged into the outlet. This can inadvertently expose the pins and poses a potential risk of electric shock. We take these reports very seriously, and we want to emphasize the proper use and intended design of our products.
Our Zeus and travel adapters are specifically designed to be used with the charger attached. They are not meant to be plugged into a wall socket without the charger, as this configuration is neither recommended nor intended for regular use. The safety mechanism of our adapters relies on the charger being properly attached, and the exposed metal components should not be accessed or exposed during regular use with the charger connected.
To ensure your safety and the safety of others, we strongly advise the following:
1. Always remove Zeus with the attached adapter from the power source before attempting to disconnect Zeus from the adapters or change the adapters.
An analogy that may help illustrate this concept is changing a lightbulb. Before attempting to change a lightbulb, you would switch off the light switch to cut off the power. Similarly, when using Zeus and the adapters, it is essential to remove them from the power source before making any changes.
Your safety is our utmost priority, and we are committed to ensuring that our products are used correctly and safely.
